• Responsible for expanding and optimizing our data and data pipeline architecture • Support our software developers, database architects, data analysts and data scientists on data initiatives • Create and maintain optimal data pipeline architecture • Assemble large, complex data sets that meet functional / non-functional business requirements • Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements • Build the infrastructure required for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of data • Build analytics tools that utilize the data pipeline • Work with stakeholders including the Executive, Product, Data and Design teams to assist with data-related technical issues • Create data tools for analytics and data scientist team members

• Plan, implement, and maintain a robust data architecture. • Develop, test, and maintain high quality code for data analysis and reporting. • Contribute expertise to the design and development of our data products. • Understand the privacy and security requirements for different types of data, and ensure we design and build accordingly.

• Generate and maintain complex data sets needed for analytics. • Combine multiple data sets to produce resultant datasets for large scale analytics. • Collaborate with Data Analysts to help create datasets supporting predictive modeling. • Design solutions to move data between multiple systems and tools to produce meaningful datasets. • Create scripts, tools, or other software solutions to help enforce data governance policies. • Understand business KPIs and the definitions used in reporting on them. • Collaborate with business units to identify and measure additional KPIs in support of further efforts. • Collaborate with Data stewards to improve data health, quality, and governance. • Understand and execute within the data quality metrics set by the Data stewards. • Assist data quality initiatives by engineering solutions to enforce data governance policies. • Assist data quality initiatives by automated transformation of errant data. • Maintain an understanding of the data creating business processes. • Collaborate with Data Analysts to create innovative ways to deliver data and insights to internal customers. • Maintain an understanding of the reporting and analytics tools used by the Data Analysts. • Support one time needs to extract, transform, and load data sets in existing tools and systems. • Assist in identifying and choosing new tools used by the Business Intelligence team. • Monitor and assist in issue resolution from our service desk.

• Develop database solutions to store and retrieve company information • Install and configure information systems to ensure functionality • Analyze structural requirements for new software and applications • Migrate data from legacy systems to new solutions • Design conceptual and logical data models and flowcharts • Improve system performance by conducting tests, troubleshooting and integrating new elements • Optimize new and current database systems • Define security and backup procedures • Coordinate with the Data Science department to identify future needs and requirements • Provide operational support for Management Information Systems (MIS)
