This pivotal role provides critical financial oversight and leadership for the parishes and schools, balancing strategic departmental management with hands-on technical accounting. As a key steward of Diocesan resources, you will ensure financial integrity across our various entities in direct support of our mission. Key Responsibilities: - Works closely with and supports the Parish Accounting Service (PAS) Manager with managing the PAS team, including, but not limited to: - Partnering in the recruitment, hiring, and comprehensive training of departmental staff. - Directing the daily workflow and task prioritization of the department. - Developing strategic recommendations for organizational improvement and service advancement. - Conducting constructive, timely performance evaluations for PAS staff. - Collaborating with management on employee relations matters, including disciplinary actions and terminations, in accordance with Diocesan policy. - Performs bookkeeping functions for various parishes, schools, and ministries for whom the Diocese has assumed administrative support of financial record-keeping.
