Engagement Type: Freelance / Consulting (6 months, extendable) Location: India (multi-location scope) About the Opportunity Bridge Et Al is partnering with a leading global organization in India to engage an experienced Provident Fund (PF) Consultant on a 6-month assignment. The mandate is to provide end-to-end oversight of the Provident Fund function across India, with a focus on strengthening compliance, streamlining processes, and bringing consistency across multiple locations and entities. A key objective of this engagement will be to review and resolve pending PF matters and establish efficient processes to ensure employee claims and transfers are processed smoothly and within statutory timelines. This role is suited for a professional who combines deep expertise in PF regulations with the ability to diagnose gaps, simplify processes, and implement sustainable improvements across the organization’s PF operations. Key Responsibilities - Conduct a comprehensive review of existing PF processes, compliance practices, and documentation across multiple locations. - Ensure adherence to all applicable EPF regulations, statutory requirements, and reporting standards. - Review and resolve pending PF matters, including open claims, transfer requests, and reconciliation issues. - Establish processes to ensure employee claims, withdrawals, and transfers are processed accurately and within statutory timelines without unnecessary delays. - Identify gaps, risks, and inefficiencies in current PF operations and recommend corrective actions. - Standardize and streamline PF processes across locations to ensure consistency and efficiency. - Work closely with internal teams (HR, payroll, finance) to strengthen process ownership, documentation, and accountability. - Support the organization in handling PF audits, inspections, and regulatory queries, where applicable. - Review and improve PF-related filings, reconciliations, and compliance reporting. - Provide guidance on complex PF cases, including transfers, withdrawals, and legacy issues. - Recommend process improvements, automation opportunities, and best practices for long-term sustainability. - Enable internal teams through knowledge transfer and capability building to ensure continuity after the engagement. Ideal Consultant Profile - Senior-level professional with extensive experience handling Provident Fund (PF) operations and statutory compliance in India. - Proven experience as a PF / statutory compliance expert, with strong hands-on knowledge of EPF regulations. - Demonstrated experience managing or advising on PF operations across multiple locations or entities. - Strong experience of payroll integration, statutory compliance processes, and PF audits. - Ability to identify operational gaps and implement practical, scalable improvements. - Experience working in a consulting or advisory capacity with organizations. - Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
