• QA expert is a QA engineer but also has strong knowledge in team strategy. • Work with POs, Devs, and QAs making sure the teams are implementing the proper testing coverage in every step in the SDLC. • Act as a mentor and participate actively in coaching. • Build consistent and efficient tests delivering them in-time. • Work with multiple independent agile software development teams to ensure that the products meet user expectations. • Be the expert, coach, and mentor that helps those teams take responsibility and formulate quality control best practices. • Implement processes and with the team, setting priorities, coaching. • Help these teams to define quality metrics, how to classify defects, identifying problem areas, and improve team efficiency. • Ensure teams have the right testing methods, code coverage with automated tests to lower the number of defects. • Work with product owners on how to define requirements that meet quality standards. • Evaluate new test management tools and new techniques. • Supporting HR in the recruitment process as a technical reference.
Job Requirements
- 4+ years' experience of working on a similar position (QA Engineer, QA Automation)
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Engineering or other related.
- Significant experience of working in Software Development teams and using QA tools and methodologies.
- Experience with automated testing tools.
- Proven experience with SQL and scripting (C# .NET).
- Familiar with Opentelemetry.
- Good knowledge of Apache Pulsar.
- Exceptional knowledge of STLC and SDLC.
- Flexible to work with departments in different time-zones.
- Upper intermediate English and Spanish level.
- ISTQB Certification (Bonus points).
