Project Assistant - Ecommerce Operations (Shopify)

Who We Are We're a fast-moving ecommerce agency managing Shopify projects for multiple clients. Our Project Managers own strategy and client relationships — and we're building a team of sharp, process-driven Project Assistants to own the execution layer that keeps everything running. If you love checklists, take pride in zero dropped balls, and want to grow inside a real agency environment — this role was built for you. The Opportunity This is a junior-to-mid execution role with a clear growth path. You'll work directly under a Project Manager, owning the repeatable, high-accountability tasks that keep client projects on track — from Shopify content updates to task hygiene in ClickUp to coordinating timelines and follow-ups. You won't be client-facing on strategy. But you will be trusted, visible, and essential. We are a growing agency creating a top tier team that can grow with us. What You'll Own Shopify & Content Execution - Upload and update products, collections, pages, menus, and metafields in Shopify - Build and maintain content mapping sheets - Set up redirects, tags, and basic backend configurations - Verify that live theme content matches approved updates Project Coordination - Keep ClickUp tasks clean, assigned, and up to date - Send templated client progress notifications (pre-written, not from scratch) - Coordinate timelines and flag overdue tasks to the PM - Schedule meetings and manage calendar invites QA & Documentation Support - Run checklist-based implementation reviews - Flag blockers or skipped QA steps before they become problems - Take detailed notes during sprint or client calls - Draft process documentation using provided templates You'll Thrive Here If... - You actually enjoy process and find satisfaction in a clean task board - You flag problems early instead of hoping they resolve themselves - You can execute from a brief without needing things explained twice - You know the difference between a blocker worth escalating and one you can solve yourself To Apply Send your resume in ENGLISH.
Job Requirements
- What We're Looking For
- Required:
- 1–2+ years in a VA, ecommerce ops, admin, or project support role
- Basic to intermediate Shopify backend experience (you've uploaded products or edited pages — that counts)
- Comfortable with at least one PM tool: ClickUp, Asana, Monday, Notion, etc.
- Strong written English — clear, professional, no hand-holding needed
- You catch your own mistakes before anyone else does
- Nice to Have:
- Agency or multi-client experience
- Familiarity with Figma (reading comments, not designing)
- Experience supporting more than one project or stakeholder at a time
