• Design and develop scalable and reliable data pipelines, ensuring high availability and performance. • Construct intricate data sets that align with functional and non-functional business requirements. • Identify, plan, and implement internal process enhancements, such as automation of manual processes, data delivery optimization, and infrastructure redesign for improved scalability. • Implement best practices for data storage, processing, and retrieval. • Collaborate with stakeholders including executives, data scientists, and product managers to understand data requirements and implement data solutions. • Optimize and tune data workflows to achieve optimal performance and efficiency. • Maintain data security and compliance with data privacy regulations. • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends in data engineering and analytics. • Mentor and guide more junior data engineers in the team.

• Design future-state, modern data architecture for transformation at the enterprise level • Utilize Snowflake and/or Databricks tools • Develop advanced analytics products • Apply data and statistical programming tools to enterprise data to advance and enable key mission outcomes within cloud environments (GCP, AWS, Azure)

• Lead and manage a team of data engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, ownership, and continuous improvement. • Define and execute the data engineering roadmap aligned with organizational goals and product strategy. • Architect, design, and oversee the implementation of scalable, reliable, and high-performance data pipelines and data platforms. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, Analytics, Data Science, and DevOps to deliver end-to-end data solutions. • Establish best practices for data governance, data quality, security, and compliance. • Drive the adoption of modern data technologies and frameworks, ensuring systems are future-ready and cost-efficient. • Review system architecture and code to ensure scalability, maintainability, and performance optimization. • Manage stakeholder expectations, prioritize initiatives, and ensure timely delivery of projects. • Mentor team members, support career growth, and build leadership within the team. • Monitor and improve system reliability, uptime, and performance through proactive measures and observability tools.
