Product Designer
Livefront
• Work directly with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to design and build user-friendly digital experiences that align with client goals and user needs. • Collaborate closely with clients to understand their needs and define requirements. • Test and refine designs to deliver flawless user experiences throughout the entire product lifecycle. • Mentor and work with other members of the Livefront product design team. • Work with zero-to-one and established design systems to maintain and update style guides, assets, and deliverables. • Work with engineers to answer design questions, make adjustments, and provide assets for the design-to-development hand-off process. • Work within the production constraints of each platform for which we’re designing and/or engineering. • Manage your time across a mix of both small and large projects with overlapping priority and urgency. • Organize and maintain working files inside a collaborative file structure. • Adopt new practices and tools as our work and the design industry evolves. • Proofread copy and fix errors and formatting in design source files and production decks. • Note: The above is not meant to be an all-inclusive list of duties and responsibilities, but constitutes a general definition of the position's scope and function within the Livefront design team.
Job Requirements
- A standout portfolio showcasing exemplary visual design chops and product sensibilities.
- At least 3-5 years of relevant experience, ideally in a consulting environment or as part of an in-house, cross-functional product team.
- Mastery of current UI/UX best practices, as well as modern design tools like Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, and various prototyping tools.
- Experience designing consumer-facing native applications for iOS and/or Android and a fluent command of each platform’s native design communication skills and a strong ability to present and defend creative choices persuasively at varying levels of resolution.
- Above-average discipline and personal organization skills.
- Obvious comfort with critique in the context of an iterative design process.
- Experience producing design decks to communicate design flows to clients and engineers.
- A demonstrated hunger for personal and professional growth within the field.
- A self-evident love and care for the craft of product design.
- Comfort with occasional travel to our HQ in MN.
