Sales Agent – Freight

• As an Independent Freight Agent (1099), operate as your own boss working remotely from the comfort of your own home, representing Sims Global Solutions under our brokerage authority • Soliciting Truckload & LTL freight services from your network of commercial customers, tapping into an unsaturated market. • We provide ALL the back office administrative and support work so that you can focus on selling & moving freight for your customers. • Agents that successfully develop regular sales with their accounts readily generate a 6-figure income.

Job Requirements

  • 3+ Years of Freight Agent Experience
  • Developed & Transferrable book of business
  • Determined hunter of new clients and business
  • Intrinsically motivated, goals driven, strong work ethic
  • Proven ability to network, build relationships, and solicit & close business
  • Strong background in utilizing CRM (HubSpot preferred but not required)
  • Ability to Negotiate rates with customers and carriers
  • Professional follow-up and coordination between customers and carriers.
  • Professional collaboration and coordination with shippers, carriers and dispatchers
  • Organized and plans daily activities including follow-up calls and appointments
