Training Specialist

Berkshire Residential Investments

• The Training Specialist will own and drive the training facilitation of nationally approved courses for the communities that Berkshire owns and/or manages within their assigned division. • Conduct all business in accordance with company policies and procedures, Fair Housing, Americans with Disabilities Act, Fair Credit Reporting Act, and all other laws pertaining to apartments and team member management • Consistently demonstrate use of tact and discretion • Conduct monthly Systems Training via video conference including, BUT NOT LIMITED TO: Property Management Software, Customer Relationship Management platform(s), Payment platform(s), Resident Screening platform(s), Income & Identity platform(s), Leasing and Deposit Accounting platform(s), Maintenance & Mobile Maintenance Application(s), Work-orders and Make-Ready Unit platform(s), Renter’s Insurance and additional products added • Assist with creation of training materials as requested • Enter all facilitators led training classes in the LMS at least 60 days in advance of the class • Periodically review property learning plans for compliance of completion • Assist with creating on demand courses as requested • Participate in Acquisitions or Due Diligence tasks as requested • Use a TEAM’s channel to communicate with APM’s

Job Requirements

  • At least three (3) years’ experience in a training/facilitation role or the equivalent in on-the-job experience required
  • At least two (2) years’ experience with Property Management Software Yardi & EliseAI, as described under “Training” responsibilities
  • At least three (3) years’ experience in the multifamily industry
  • Aptitude for organizing, prioritizing, and managing multiple priorities, using critical thinking and problem solving
  • Demonstrated multi-modal communication style that reaches every stakeholder, specifically excellent verbal, and written communications
  • Ability to communicate with and manage up to senior management
  • Collaborative working style with inclusive work and thinking behaviors, commitment to excellence in teams and work product, with a strong work ethic
  • Demonstrate emotional intelligence in high pressure and sensitive situations
  • Tenacity, patience, and perseverance to work with business deals from beginning to end of process
