Primary Responsibilities: - Technical Leadership: Lead multiple engineering teams, ensuring delivery of high-quality software solutions - Architecture & Design: Interpret requirements and design scalable, secure, and maintainable systems - Mentorship: Guide and mentor engineers across levels, fostering technical growth and best practices - Innovation: Evaluate new tools, frameworks, and strategies to improve organizational efficiency - Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with architects, QA, DevOps, and product teams in a scaled agile environment - Problem Solving: Provide solutions for complex technical challenges and customer needs - AI Integration: Design and implement GenAI-powered workflows, including LLM-based agents, prompt orchestration, and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) - Go Expertise: Develop backend services and microservices using Golang, ensuring performance and scalability - AI Governance: Apply responsible AI practices, including security, compliance, and ethical guidelines - Platform Development: Build reusable GenAI components, APIs, and SDKs for enterprise adoption You'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in. Required Qualifications: - Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field - 5+ years of software engineering experience - 2+ years of technical leadership (senior level mentoring acceptable) - 2+ years of experience with CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and observability tools - Cloud experience (Azure preferred, but any cloud acceptable) - Solid programming in Go, Java, Python, and/or React - Expertise in API design and cloud native development - Familiarity or hands on experience with GenAI frameworks (e.g., LangChain) - Familiarity with vector databases - Understanding of MLOps practices - Excellent communication skills - Ability to mentor others Preferred Qualifications: - Certifications: TOGAF, AWS/Azure Architect, AI/ML certifications - FHIR expertise (ideally 2+ years) - Experience in healthcare or financial domains - Proven track record in AI-driven architecture and performance optimization *All employees working remotely will be required to adhere to UnitedHealth Group's Telecommuter Policy. • Build and own fraud detection capabilities for Stytch’s fraud platform on Twilio—go deep on browser and device internals for complex signal collection to improve identification of bad actors and keep our customers safe. • Partner with Product and Engineering leadership to set direction, translate customer needs into technical plans, and deliver high-impact roadmap features. • Collaborate across Twilio and Stytch teams to align on architecture, integrate platform capabilities, and unblock cross-team initiatives. • Operate with deep technical ownership: author design docs, drive key technical decisions, review code, and stay close to the systems you ship. • Build in ambiguity—break down complex problems, make pragmatic tradeoffs, and adopt new technologies or strategies when they improve outcomes. • Improve production quality and resilience through strong observability, incident response and remediation. • Mentor and support other engineers through pairing, feedback, and knowledge-sharing, helping raise the team’s technical bar and culture.

• Lead architecture and system design for complex, distributed software systems; guide teams toward scalable, maintainable solutions. • Design, implement, and review high-quality code for core services, APIs, platforms, and/or user-facing applications. • Translate business goals into technical roadmaps, identify tradeoffs, and align stakeholders on solution direction. • Improve system resiliency, latency, throughput, and cost efficiency; establish SLOs/SLAs and operational practices. • Drive standards for coding, testing, CI/CD, observability, security, and documentation; champion automation and quality. • Partner with engineering managers, staff engineers, and product leaders to coordinate delivery across multiple teams. • Coach and mentor engineers at all levels; lead design reviews, incident postmortems, and technical deep dives. • Identify technical risks early (security, scalability, compliance) and drive mitigation plans.
