Visa
• Design code and systems that impact 40% of the world’s population while influencing internal standards for scalability, security, and reusability at Visa • Collaborate cross-functionally to create design artifacts and deliver best-in-class software solutions for multiple Visa technical offerings • Actively contribute to product quality improvements, valuable service technology, and new business flows within diverse agile squads • Develop robust, scalable products intended for a wide range of customers, including end-user merchants, B2B, and government solutions • Leverage innovative technologies to build the next generation of Payment Services, Transaction Platforms, Real-Time Payments, and Buy Now Pay Later solutions • Opportunity to make an impact on a global or local scale through mentorship and ongoing learning • Demonstrate relevant technical knowledge to understand requirements • Identify and contribute to development and solution strategies that improve the design and functionality of interface features across one or more project areas with minimal guidance • Apply standard programming practices (e.g., HTML, C++, Java) to write code that fulfills website modification requests and technical requirements • Collaborate with others to pilot new technology capabilities and features that enhance the user experience across e-commerce products • Analyze bugs for straightforward issues and use debugging tools to validate assumptions
Job Requirements
- Experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, and GraphQL
- Familiarity with AWS
- Experience building RESTful applications
- Understanding of Clean Architecture
- Experience applying SOLID principles
- Experience with ReactJS
- Experience creating reusable components
- Experience with GraphQL
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines
- Familiarity with automated testing
- Growth mindset: curious, passionate about technology, and motivated by challenging global projects
- Comfortable pushing boundaries and adopting creative, non-traditional solutions when appropriate
- Experience building and deploying modern services and web applications with a focus on quality and scalability
- Ongoing drive to learn new technologies such as Angular, React, Kubernetes, Docker, etc.
- Experience collaborating with Product, QA/Test, DevOps, and Agile/Scrum teams
