Important Information Location: Brazil Job Mode: Full-time Work Mode: Work from home Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Data Analyst to lead the migration of analytics assets from ThoughtSpot to Power BI. This role focuses on building scalable, high-performance BI solutions, enabling self-service analytics, and partnering closely with data engineering and business stakeholders. The ideal candidate has strong Power BI expertise, a solid understanding of modern data platforms, and experience operating within enterprise BI environments. Responsibilities and Duties - Lead the end-to-end migration of dashboards, reports, and visualizations from ThoughtSpot to Power BI; - Translate existing ThoughtSpot workflows into optimized Power BI reports aligned with enterprise data standards and governance; - Design and develop reusable data models and semantic layers to enable scalable self-service analytics; - Collaborate with data engineering teams to ensure reliable, clean, and well-modeled data sources are available for reporting; - Optimize Power BI solutions for performance, usability, security, and scalability; - Support BI governance initiatives, including role-based access control and report lifecycle management; - Partner with business users to understand requirements, deliver insights, and support onboarding into the Power BI ecosystem; - Contribute to BI documentation, standards, and best practices; - Actively participate in Agile ceremonies and iterative delivery processes. Essential Skills - Experience in Business Intelligence or reporting development; - Experience in BI migration or cross-platform reporting consolidation initiatives; - Experience with Power BI Service administration, APIs, and deployment pipelines (CI/CD); - Exposure to Azure data ecosystem (Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse); - Understanding of Databricks architecture and semantic layer concepts; - Knowledge of dbt and modern data stack principles; - Ability to quickly understand and navigate complex data models; - Strong expertise in Power BI (DAX, Power Query, data modeling, performance optimization); - Advanced SQL skills with hands-on experience querying Azure Databricks; - Proven experience in data visualization and storytelling with data; - Solid understanding of BI governance, security models, and role-based access; - Experience working in Agile / Scrum environments (sprint planning, backlog management). Highly Desirable Skills - Familiarity with insurance domain processes and terminology; - Exposure to AI/ML-driven insights integration in dashboards.
