We are seeking a DevOps / Software Engineer to lead application migration efforts, build and manage CI/CD pipelines, and support deployments across cloud and containerized environments. This role is responsible for executing end-to-end deployment activities, integrating applications with AWS services, and ensuring smooth onboarding into Kubernetes-based platforms. The ideal candidate brings strong experience with GitLab pipelines, Java/Spring Boot, React, and AWS integrations, along with hands-on experience in infrastructure as code and container orchestration. Responsibilities - Design, build, and migrate CI/CD pipelines using GitLab - Support deployment of backend services (Spring Boot), frontend applications (React), and API Gateway integrations - Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) updates and manage deployments using tools such as Terraform - Onboard and deploy applications into Kubernetes environments (EKS) - Integrate applications with AWS services including S3, SES, and SQS - Implement and maintain authentication mechanisms including OIDC, JWT, and related identity services - Support user acceptance testing (UAT), production releases, and system cutover activities - Assist with data integration efforts across enterprise systems such as IMDS, REMIS, and BLADE - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful application deployment and system integration Required Qualifications - CompTIA Security+ certification (or equivalent DoD 8570/8140 certification) - Active Secret clearance - Active CAC or ability to obtain immediately - Availability to start immediately - 5–8 years of experience in DevOps, software engineering, or related roles - Strong experience building and maintaining GitLab CI/CD pipelines - Experience developing or supporting applications using Java and Spring Boot - Experience working with modern front-end frameworks such as React - Experience integrating applications with AWS services (S3, SES, SQS) - Experience with Kubernetes (EKS) and containerized application deployments - Experience with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform - Experience with deployment tools such as ArgoCD - Experience working in AWS GovCloud environments (Cloud One preferred) - #CJ Desired Qualifications - Experience supporting authentication and identity solutions (OIDC, JWT, enterprise identity services) - Experience with enterprise data integrations and large-scale system migrations - Familiarity with Agile development and DevOps best practices Fantom Corp is a Software Development, Agile Cloud, Cyber Security (Risk Management, Assessments & Authorization (A&A)), Data, AI Platform (Computer Vision Models), Podcasting Media Services, and IT Services provider. • Design, build, and maintain scalable, cost-effective cloud infrastructure across AWS and Fly.io. • Own deployment strategy and service design across our monolith and microservices, including schema migrations and rollout safety. • Manage infrastructure-as-code (CloudFormation, Terraform or equivalent) for reproducible, auditable infrastructure. • Identify reliability risks, performance bottlenecks, and security gaps, and address them proactively. • Evolve our observability stack: logging, distributed tracing, metrics, and uptime monitoring. • Evolve on-call practices and incident response processes that keep us ahead of customer-impacting issues. • Champion a culture of reliability: postmortems, runbooks, and continuous improvement after incidents. • Manage and improve our CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions) and establish deployment best practices. • Build internal platform tooling and abstractions that reduce toil and increase engineering velocity. • Partner with product engineers to make infrastructure easy to use correctly and hard to use incorrectly. • Design and operate data pipelines that support our ML-powered verification systems. • Evolve our MLOps infrastructure so models can be trained, evaluated, and deployed safely and repeatedly. • Work closely with engineering and product leadership on technical roadmap decisions. • Review code, mentor peers, and help raise the bar on security, reliability, and operational discipline. • Communicate infrastructure tradeoffs clearly across technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Design, build, and maintain production-grade cloud infrastructure • Be part of a team that supports Tessera's infrastructure across every cloud provider • Design, build, and operate Tessera's multi-cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, GCP and Oracle. • Enable portable infrastructure across customer environments • Improve observability, security, and system reliability • Deploy and operate applications using Kubernetes and Terraform • Partner closely with product and platform engineers to unblock delivery • Design and build CI/CD pipelines, own the end-to-end automation of build, test, and deployment workflows for both infrastructure and application code • Build and maintain a reusable automation framework for day-to-day DevOps and developer workflows, covering environment provisioning, secret rotation, dependency updates, compliance checks, and release management • Automate operational runbooks and recurring processes, identify manual work across the engineering org and systematically eliminate it through scripts, pipeline stages, and self-service tooling • Champion an automation-first mindset across the team, if something is done twice, it should be automated; if it's automated, it should be observable and maintained like production code

• Contribute to SRE-owned portions of application codebases related to infrastructure clients, SaaS clients, observability, and reliability patterns. • Contribute to the developer platform interfaces to enable a growing number of engineers, microservices, and environments (helm charts, CI platform, and deploy processes). • Advocate for new tools and processes that will help Regrello grow. • Take part in on-call rotations. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Development, QA, Product Management, to ensure successful releases.
