Junior DevOps Engineer

We are seeking a DevOps Engineer to support pipeline development, infrastructure deployment, and application configuration within a cloud-based environment. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on experience in CI/CD, AWS, and containerized systems who is looking to grow under senior technical guidance. The ideal candidate will have experience working with modern DevOps tools and cloud platforms, and be comfortable supporting deployments, troubleshooting pipelines, and assisting with system integrations. Responsibilities - Assist with the setup, configuration, and troubleshooting of CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitLab - Support GitLab runner configuration and pipeline execution processes - Execute application deployments and perform environment configuration tasks - Assist with infrastructure provisioning and deployment activities using Terraform and Kubernetes - Support data integrations and API configuration efforts - Participate in testing, validation, and quality assurance activities - Update and maintain technical documentation and deployment procedures - Collaborate with senior engineers to support system reliability and deployment workflows Required Qualifications - CompTIA Security+ certification (or equivalent DoD 8570/8140 certification) - Active Secret clearance - Active CAC or ability to obtain immediately - 3–5 years of hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices - Experience working with AWS environments, preferably AWS GovCloud (Cloud One experience is a plus) - Experience with containerized deployments and orchestration using Kubernetes (EKS) - Experience using infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform - Experience with GitLab and CI/CD pipeline development - Experience with deployment tools such as ArgoCD - Strong understanding of application deployment and environment configuration processes Desired Qualifications - Experience supporting API integrations and backend services - Familiarity with cloud-native application architectures - Experience working in collaborative, Agile development environments - #CJ Fantom Corp is a Software Development, Agile Cloud, Cyber Security (Risk Management, Assessments & Authorization (A&A)), Data, AI Platform (Computer Vision Models), Podcasting Media Services, and IT Services provider.
