We are seeking a Senior DevSecOps Engineer / Kubernetes Architect to lead infrastructure design, Kubernetes platform deployment, and DevSecOps toolchain integration within a secure cloud environment. This role is responsible for architecting and implementing scalable infrastructure solutions, supporting application onboarding, and ensuring consistency across multi-environment deployments. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in Kubernetes (EKS), Terraform, and modern DevSecOps practices, along with experience supporting secure, mission-focused cloud environments. Responsibilities - Lead the design, deployment, and management of Kubernetes clusters (EKS) across mission and service environments - Deploy and maintain DevSecOps toolchains, including platforms such as GitLab, ArgoCD, Vault, and Nexus - Design and implement infrastructure using Terraform, ensuring scalable and secure infrastructure as code (IaC) practices - Configure and validate AWS services including Application Load Balancers (ALB), EC2, SES, and SQS - Oversee deployment and configuration consistency across multiple environments (e.g., development, staging, production) - Support onboarding of applications into Kubernetes environments and integration with CI/CD pipelines - Troubleshoot complex infrastructure and application issues, and optimize system performance - Ensure platform reliability, scalability, and compliance with security requirements - Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to support continuous delivery and platform improvements Required Qualifications - CompTIA Security+ certification (or equivalent DoD 8570/8140 certification) - Active Secret clearance - Active CAC or ability to obtain immediately - 8–12 years of relevant experience in DevOps, cloud engineering, or infrastructure engineering - Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes, particularly Amazon EKS - Expertise in infrastructure as code using Terraform - Experience deploying and managing cloud infrastructure in AWS environments - Experience integrating and managing CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps toolchains - Strong troubleshooting and performance tuning skills across distributed systems - Experience with AWS GovCloud environments (Cloud One preferred) - Experience working with tools such as GitLab and ArgoCD - #CJ Desired Qualifications - Experience with DoD DevSecOps platforms such as Big Bang, Iron Bank, or Platform One - Experience working in secure or regulated cloud environments - Familiarity with multi-environment deployment strategies and high-availability architectures Fantom Corp is a Software Development, Agile Cloud, Cyber Security (Risk Management, Assessments & Authorization (A&A)), Data, AI Platform (Computer Vision Models), Podcasting Media Services, and IT Services provider. Role Description Responsible for the planning, design, and oversight of fiber-to-the-home (FTTH) network infrastructure. This role ensures that all engineering work complies with applicable standards, regulations, and client requirements while delivering cost-effective and scalable broadband solutions. The PE provides technical leadership, reviews and stamps engineering designs, and supports project execution from concept through construction. - Design and engineer FTTH outside plant networks, including: - Fiber routing (aerial and underground) - Conduit systems and handholes/vaults - Splice point layouts and fiber distribution architecture (GPON, XGS-PON, Active Ethernet) - Prepare and review: - Construction drawings - Permitting packages - Bill of materials (BOM) - Cost estimates and design documentation - Apply engineering standards such as: - NESC (National Electrical Safety Code) - Local/state DOT and municipal requirements - Utility coordination standards - Perform and/or oversee: - Field surveys and route validation - Make-ready engineering (pole loading, guying, clearance analysis) - As-built documentation review - Provide engineering seal (stamp) on design packages where required - Support construction by: - Responding to RFIs (Requests for Information) - Reviewing change orders - Conducting field inspections as needed - Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards - Mentor junior engineers and designers - Perform other related duties, as assigned.
