Product Analyst – Game

• Monitor in-game user actions and journey funnels to uncover insights and player patterns • Analyze and optimize monetization models (IAP, ads) and retention KPIs • Build intuitive dashboards and regular reports to track key performance metrics for stakeholders • Design and evaluate A/B tests for gameplay features, UI elements, and marketing strategies • Develop predictive models for user lifetime value (LTV), churn, and engagement • Work closely with UX/UI designer, product manager, and marketing to provide actionable insights • Partner with the data engineer to ensure data quality, pipelines, and storage are optimized.

Job Requirements

  • 4 years of experience as a data analyst in mobile games, apps, or related digital products.
  • Proficient in SQL, data visualization tools (e.g. Looker, Tableau, Power BI), and Excel.
  • Experience with analytics platforms (e.g. Firebase, GameAnalytics, Adjust, or Amplitude)
  • Ability to analyze large data sets and present findings clearly to non-technical teams
  • Understanding of game economy, user acquisition, and live ops metrics
  • Experience in product research and A/B test setup & analysis
  • Proficient in Python (experience with statistical modeling and tools like R is a plus)
  • Experience building predictive models such as LTV forecasting
  • Passion for games, interactive storytelling, and player-centered experiences

The base salary range for this position is $79,000-153,000 USD per year. Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate’s relevant experience, and other factors. About this team: As a Senior Programmatic Exchange Analyst, you will be a critical bridge between auction intelligence and commercial execution. You will investigate auction-level dynamics, diagnose revenue leakage, and partner closely with the Vungle Exchange Commercial team to unblock revenue and optimize DSP outcomes. This role is highly analytical and business-facing: you will extract signals from noisy auction data, translate it into actionable recommendations, and collaborate with commercial and product stakeholders to implement changes.
