ABOUT THE ROLE We are proactively seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our Cloud team, you will play a crucial role in providing infrastructure services to enhance platform resilience, ensuring availability and smooth operation without failures. Nowadays, our systems and applications are used by more than 3,500 online stores across over 43 countries. You will act as a technical mentor for the team, offering guidance and leveraging your expertise in SRE best practices. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to optimize system architecture and enhance operational efficiency will be a key aspect of your role. Designing, implementing, and maintaining robust infrastructure and automation solutions to support our mission-critical services, as well as monitoring system performance and implementing proactive measures, will also be part of your responsibilities. ABOUT THE TEAM The Cloud team at VTEX is dedicated to ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of our systems and applications. In addition, we play a crucial role in fostering a culture of reliability within product teams and delivering top-notch shared internal-facing observability solutions. The cloud teams at VTEX will spread the SRE culture across all teams, identifying ways to optimize metrics for faster failure detection and increased product reliability. Additionally, these teams will prioritize managing, administering, evolving, and monitoring the foundational infrastructure (compute, storage, and network), transforming these offerings into consumable products for the entire engineering team at VTEX. This will reduce operational costs and enhance the resilience and efficiency of our infrastructure.
