As Ollie’s next Logistics and Transportation Associate, you will be responsible for coordinating all transportation related activities for the company. This position serves as a liaison to a variety of parties including for-hire transport companies, storage facilities, customers, and cross-functionally within Ollie. This position uses analytical and quantitative methods to understand, predict, and improve logistics processes to optimize efficiency and reduce costs for the company and our customers. We are looking for an energetic, highly motivated self-starter to join and enhance our Logistics team. Join the pack! This position is based remotely in the United States and will report to our Director of Logistics & Delivery Experience. What You'll Do: - Coordinate and schedule all inbound shipments and transfers to our nationwide network of fulfillment centers. Execute shipment logistics from order release through final delivery, meeting service, delivery, and cost objectives - Work collaboratively with Supply Chain and Fulfillment Operations for the timely movement of shipments. - Track and trace all shipments to provide proactive updates and manage shipment exceptions. - Submit rate quotes and quarterly RFP bid requests. - Partner cross-functionally with partners from Marketing, Digital, Strategy, CX, and Operations to achieve shared goals and objectives to improve the customer experience. - Track KPIs and other key metrics with a focus on continuous improvement. - Selects, tenders, and manages for-hire carriers; plans and optimizes loads using internal tools and aid in selection of future tool/software improvements - Ability to manage multiple systems to identify, monitor, and improve transportation performance, along with the ability to identify potential system improvements. - Resolve daily execution issues, including missed pickups, service failures, damage, and freight discrepancies - Review freight invoices and accessorial charges; partners with Finance and carriers to resolve discrepancies - At times, leads or participates in continuous improvements initiatives and cross-functional projects to enhance delivery experience, efficiency, and cost performance. - Maintains SOPs and recommends process improvements to improve efficiency, delivery experience, and cost. - Build strong working relationships with internal teams and external carrier partners. - Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned to support the company and its operational needs. The National Rehabilitation Service is looking for a motivated individual to join our team as a bilingual Vocational Rehabilitation Specialist, providing vocational rehabilitation services to eligible members of the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF). The incumbent will be responsible for facilitating the return to work of plan members through customized return-to-work strategies designed in collaboration with clients, colleagues and care providers. A typical workday involves meeting with plan members and healthcare professionals and coordinating activities with care providers to ensure a smooth return to work. The Rehabilitation Specialist's responsibilities include budget management and planning, as well as implementing return-to-work programs. Duties may also include mediation and negotiation sessions with interested parties. The position requires an outstanding ability to multi-task, a flexible approach, and the ability to prioritize, given the often-conflicting demands of tight deadlines. Special Conditions: This role is from a home-based office and regional travel will be required. You will be responsible for managing a rehabilitation caseload covering the geographic area of Quebec City and surrounding areas. Coverage of other regions may be required. About the Role The Surgery Scheduler is responsible for accurate scheduling of surgeries as directed by the physician; including ensuring that all patient demographic information is obtained correctly at the time of the surgery. These services include surgery scheduling at various hospitals and surgical centers. The Surgery Scheduler serves as a liaison between the hospital, patient and physician. What You’ll Be Doing - Schedule patients accurately and efficiently for any and all surgical procedures requested by physicians. This includes scheduling of pre and post operative appointments and imaging as well as attaining medical clearances etc. - Responsible for providing patients with all necessary information regarding their procedure. This includes but is not limited to special diet or prep instructions, general insurance information, arrival times, dates, locations, etc. - Communicates effectively and in a friendly manner with patients, other staff and physicians as well as outside sources. - Organizes work for efficiency and problem solving as related to surgery scheduling and its impact on physicians and clinical office. - Serve as contact for hospitals, surgery centers and physicians regarding schedules, procedures, or concerns while sharing information and working with manager, supervisor, co-schedulers and physicians. - Responsible for being up-to-date on all insurance requirements and following all guidelines, as well as obtaining prior authorizations and notifications and verifying insurance benefits. - Responsible for documenting scheduled surgeries in Medent under chart notes. Information to be included: person and date of the individual spoken to at the hospital or surgery center, date, prep and any special instructions to be given including notification of equipment needed for the surgical procedure. - Responsible for entering all demographic information including insurance into Medent as well as checking patient’s insurance for pre-certifications, prior authorizations and referrals. - Responsible for rescheduling and cancelling surgery and post-op appointments in a way which minimizes any inconveniences to the patient, including notification to the correct hospital or surgery center. - Responsible for maintaining effective and accurate daily physician surgery schedules. - Communicates effectively and compassionately with patients. - Communicate effectively with staff, management, physicians, and outside contacts. - Represents U.S Urology Partners in a professional manner related to appearance, communication and the maintenance of patient confidentiality. - Other duties as assigned. What We Expect from You - High School Graduate or GED - Minimum of three years surgery scheduling experience - Medical Assistant Certification or Certified Nursing Assistant Preferred Reasoning Ability Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
