• Identify and execute opportunities for revenue generation and partnerships across the DeFi space. • Build and maintain strategic relationships and partnerships in the DeFi ecosystem to enhance cross-collaboration and overall ecosystem development. • Define DeFi product business cases and revenue strategies. • Have a deep understanding of the DeFi market, including project and entity contacts, and market strategies. • Research prospective accounts, pursue leads, and support successful agreements. • Provide strategic advice to DeFi projects/protocols on product development, go-to-market strategies, tokenomics, technical requirements, roadmapping, user engagement, and more.
Job Requirements
- Bachelors degree in business, technology, or a related field (MBA or MA preferred).
- 2 years of experience in the crypto and/or DeFi sectors with roles in trading, investment banking, product management, product development, or client development.
- Active participation and a genuine passion for advancements in the DeFi market.
- A proven track record of successfully closing and expanding partnership deals in DeFi.
- Strong networking skills, with the ability to engage credibly within the crypto community, and the ability to simplify complex concepts for non-technical audiences and stakeholders.

The Liquidity Solutions Associate within the Enterprise Investment Office (EIO) supports the evaluation and execution of private equity divestment transactions in the secondary market. The role partners closely with the firm's Divestment Council and focuses on LP‑led and GP‑led liquidity solutions, including asset sales, LP tenders, continuation vehicles, and managed SPVs across HarbourVest‑managed funds. The Associate leads platform‑wide due diligence across multiple strategies-including funds of funds, secondaries, direct co‑investments, private credit, and real assets-to assess value, risk, and optimal exit outcomes.
