Job Description While specific duties vary based on the project, our team members generally contribute in the following areas: - Culinary Training: Leading on-site workshops to teach school food staff professional knife skills, bulk cooking techniques, and recipe scaling. - Operational Assessment: Analyzing school kitchen infrastructure, procurement habits, and financial data to create a roadmap for scratch-cooking success. - Program Management: Overseeing the implementation of CAF initiatives like Get Schools Cooking or the Healthy School Food Pathway. - Advocacy & Engagement: Building relationships with school boards, parents, and administrators to champion the importance of school food reform. Role Description VETS is seeking an experienced independent contractor to provide Community Fundraising Coordination services. This role supports our growing base of grassroots fundraisers, volunteers, and ambassadors by helping to activate community-driven fundraising campaigns and small-scale events. The ideal contractor excels at relationship-building, creating useful resources, and empowering supporters to take meaningful action on behalf of the mission. Job Summary: The Care Manager—Registered Nurse is a key member of our Special Needs Plan (SNP) care team, responsible for coordinating care for members who often face multiple chronic medical and behavioral health conditions, as well as various social determinants of health (SDoH) needs. This role involves conducting comprehensive assessments to evaluate members’ needs and addressing SDoH challenges by connecting them with appropriate resources and support services.
