• Create technical content across multiple documents with competing deadlines • Create narrative content for proposal sections and other assignments from scratch based off graphics and/or using “SME interviews” to author prose and validate it with technical system engineers, architects, and other SMEs • Perform peer reviews across technical and non-technical documents • General domain knowledge of Security and be able to write to capabilities • Respond to RFQ/RPS requirements

• Work closely with the internal team to understand the project and Documentation requirements. • Create high-quality technical documents that adhere to the quality standards of the organization and meet the needs of the target audience. • Coordinate with the developers and designers to check the product samples. • Write easily understandable instruction manuals, developer guides, and online help. • Help end-users understand the product and use it efficiently by creating tutorials. • Analyze existing content, reuse, and make changes as required. • Create and maintain technical design specifications, information architecture, and test scripts.

Your role in our mission - Researches, writes, edits, and proofreads more complex technical data for use in documents or sections of documents such as manuals, procedures, and specifications to provide clients with information regarding technical areas in a less technical way. - Assists in establishing style guidelines and standards for texts and illustrations to meet business needs. - Interviews programmers, engineers, developers, and other technical personnel; Reads previous documentation and design notes and uses computer-based training or company technical products to gather and research technical information for use in more complex documentation. - Writes, organizes, enters and compiles more complex online help files to support end users. - Creates, compiles, and delivers more complex system/software developmental documentation packages including, but not limited to narratives, logic diagrams, input and output samples, input preparation instructions, job setup information, etc., from technical project team inputs, system requirements analysis, system design specifications, technical system design, technical procedure development, configuration control requirements, test and training specifications, and programming notes. - Assists in creating project plan, etc. for completing documentation. - Provides leadership and work guidance to less experienced personnel. - Might serve as a Lead on their assigned account(s) What we're looking for - 7 or more years’ experience - College Graduate or equivalent experience - Experience working with desktop publishing, word processing, and on-line documentation software - Experience working with industry writing style such as grammar, sentence form, and structure - Experience working with company software products - Strong communication skills - Personal computer and business solutions software skills - Great proofreading and editing skills - Ability to convert technical knowledge into easily understood terms - Ability to work independently and as part of a team What you should expect in this role - Remote position (US only) - Opportunities to travel through your work (0-10%) - Video cameras must be used during all interviews, as well as during the initial week of orientation - The deadline to submit applications for this posting is 4/30/2026 The pay range for this position is $66,200.00 - $94,500.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. We’re looking for a Technical Scheme Lead to take ownership of our beef and lamb certification schemes, acting as the technical authority and trusted point of contact for scheme owners, auditors, colleagues and customers. In this role, you’ll be the go‑to expert for beef and lamb production and livestock supply chains. You’ll ensure schemes are technically robust, audits are consistent and high quality, certification decisions are sound, and NSF’s reputation is protected. This is a senior individual contributor role — you won’t manage a team, but you’ll have significant influence across auditors, technical teams, scheme owners and customers. It is a 12 Month Fixed-Term, with the possibility of extension.
