• Build up and define visual UIs based on experience, current trends and what you think will be on vogue in the years to come • Develop and maintain design wireframes, style guides, and specifications • Create UI specifications based on the tools at hand for implementation with frontend developers • Work with Sketch, Omnigraffle, and/or Axure depends on business/client need • Work in an agile environment to fully implement the experience that has been designed • Work in teams with great engineers who know that services and solutions have to be usable to be successful • Be involved in the entire UX process from start to finish (research up until implementation)
Job Requirements
- At least 1-3 years of experience working on mid- to highly complex applications, systems and architectures (a landing page is not software)
- Worked in teams that deliver software solutions to startups, SMB or corporations
- Can show a proven track record of establishing the structure of applications by designing content layouts and navigation
- Excellent knowledge of best practices and current trends
- Works well in a fast-paced environment
- Skilled at practicing a lean UX approach
- Good at presenting designs & articulating design decisions
- Detail-oriented
- Good at accepting feedback and design critique
- Excellent organizational skills and orientation to detail
- Good communication skills as this a remote position
- (Some) experience using Agile methods to deliver software solutions is preferred
- Experience with Sketch and InVision is a plus
- Experience working on B2B products

Role Summary The Contract Product Designer at Renew Home will support critical growth initiatives across our product ecosystem, partnering closely with product management and engineering to bring high-impact experiences to life. This 6-month role is ideal for a designer who thrives in fast-moving environments and can balance strategic thinking with high-quality execution. You’ll contribute to the design of consumer-facing product experiences that improve acquisition, conversion, and retention, while also crafting compelling lifecycle email campaigns that drive engagement. The role requires strong product thinking, a sharp visual eye, and the ability to move fluidly between system-driven UI work and polished, marketing-oriented design. What You Will Do - Design and deliver high-quality product experiences that support key growth initiatives, from concept through production, under the guidance of a Staff Product Designer. - Collaborate closely with Product Managers and Engineers to translate requirements into thoughtful, user-centered solutions that align with business goals. - Own scoped initiatives with a high degree of autonomy, while incorporating feedback and direction from design leadership. - Create a range of design deliverables including user flows, wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, prototypes, and production-ready specs. - Design and iterate on consumer-facing email campaigns, balancing strong visual storytelling with clarity, usability, and performance considerations. - Apply a high level of visual craft across both product UI and email work, ensuring a cohesive and engaging user experience across touchpoints. - Advocate for users by considering the full journey—from initial entry points through conversion and ongoing engagement. - Contribute to design critiques and team discussions, helping maintain a high bar for quality and consistency. - Leverage AI-powered tools in your workflow to explore concepts, increase efficiency, and elevate design output.
