About the Role The Escrow Assistant is responsible for managing key functions in the closing process for our home buying and selling customers, to ensure they have a seamless experience. From post-contract to close, you will be on the front lines of customer engagement where you’ll use strong problem-solving and process execution to drive outcomes. You will manage multiple tasks with competing deadlines, easily adhere to new processes quickly and stay on top of modifications as the business evolves. This is a full-time, fully remote position based in Texas, reporting directly to the Escrow Manager. What You’ll Do Here - Assist with pre-close and post-close document preparation and tasks in support of the Escrow and Closing teams: - Coordinate the collection of key documents and information from customers and external providers - Order payoffs, surveys, and home warranties - Prepare preliminary settlement statements and process lender title requests - Review contracts, commitments, and orders to ensure all information is correct in preparation for the closing - Identify issues pertaining to the contract and title commitment and be able to strategize how to cure - Assemble all necessary documents to prepare files and closing packages - Manage data and document storage: transmit, scan, and file into appropriate systems - Coordinate closing time and location with customers and notaries - Work within strict deadlines to ensure closings happen on time - Primarily work Texas closings, but be willing to learn and work files in other states as well. We'd Love to Hear From You if You Have - 3+ yrs of experience as an Escrow Assistant - Exceptional verbal and written customer service skills that help form positive relationships both internally and externally - Confidence in working with technologies (Google Suite) and specialty software (e.g. Qualia) - Good problem-solving skills and a drive to work proactively - Experience mastering complex processes and contributing with the understanding of your role within a larger series of processes - A team player mentality who subscribes to the concept of “Team Before Self” - Appreciation for the importance of following through with timely communication to ensure the best outcomes and experience for customers and internal stakeholders - Strong organizational skills and are exceptionally detail-oriented Orchard is proud to be an equal opportunity employer. If you are energized by closing deals, communicating with purpose, and making a direct impact on business growth, this role offers meaningful daily influence. • Monthly Compensation: $1,450 USD Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: - Support referral nurturing efforts in partnership with sales leadership - Attend virtual event booths and support event-based sales initiatives - Assist intake coordinators with reviewing, correcting, and resending DocuSign agreements - Ensure client buy-in and clarity during the handoff process - Participate in ongoing sales training to improve performance - Collaborate with the client experience team on follow-ups - Debrief and document outcomes from sales calls - Facilitate smooth client handoffs to account management teams - Close deals and confirm client commitment - Host decision-making calls and guide prospects through next steps - Lead sales calls with potential new clients Requirements: • Minimum 1 year of proven sales experience required • Strong experience with sales calls, decision-making conversations, and client handoffs • A valid U.S. visa or European citizenship and availability to travel to events across the U.S. after the initial 6-month onboarding period is a plus. • Exposure to event-based sales, trade shows, or conferences is a plus • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Problem-solving mindset with the ability to address client concerns effectively • Detail-oriented approach to managing conversations and follow-ups • Strong rapport-building and interpersonal skills • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently • High emotional intelligence and customer-focused mindset • Confidence in leading conversations and closing agreements • Location and timezone: Remote, Eastern Standard Time (EST) • Working Hours: Monday to Friday • Expected call volume: High • Software and Tools Required: Bloomgrowth, Workday, ActiveCampaign, GoTo, Zoom, Microsoft 365, Power BI Work Shift: 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM [EST][EDT] (United States of America) Languages: English, Spanish Ready to dive in?
