• Provides technical expertise and develops technical solutions for the Service FACTS/HVDC/AC substations portfolio during the pre-ITO (requisition) process, interfacing with the commercial team. • Leads a team of Field Service Engineers and Technicians. • Has a deep understanding of FACTS, HVDC and AC substation markets and customer economic drivers to support winning bid strategies. • Interfaces with worldwide regional FACTS/HVDC/Service CT and supports regional teams as required. • Acts as the primary technical contact for regional Service FACTS/HVDC inquiries. • Serves as the central technical interface between Service, Sales, Project Management, Engineering and Manufacturing. • Attends customer meetings and identifies solutions to meet Service FACTS, HVDC and AC substation customer needs. • Works closely with field engineers, back-office teams and engineering to identify new product and service opportunities. • Launches global commercial campaigns for new Service FACTS, HVDC and AC substation products and services. • Provides technical guidance for HVDC solutions across the project and service lifecycle.

Job Requirements

  • Significant experience in engineering/technology and customer application engineering.
  • Education level comparable to a Master’s degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma with relevant experience).
  • Experience with HVDC, FACTS or high-voltage systems.
  • Strong technical expertise combined with a service- and customer-oriented mindset.
  • Structured, proactive and solution-focused work approach.
  • Confident communicator in cross-functional environments.
  • Fluency in English and German.

Role Description The Performance Manager oversees the monitoring, analysis, and optimization of IT systems and service performance to ensure that mission‑critical environments meet defined service levels and program outcomes. The role designs and maintains performance measurement frameworks that integrate technical metrics and key performance indicators with business goals, providing clear visibility for both technical and leadership stakeholders. The Performance Manager collaborates with infrastructure, application, and security teams to diagnose performance bottlenecks, lead remediation initiatives, and champion a culture of data‑driven decision‑making and continuous improvement across the IT organization. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related field, or equivalent relevant work experience. - 8+ years of experience in IT systems performance management, performance engineering, systems monitoring, or related roles in enterprise environments. - Deep knowledge of performance analysis principles, metrics, and tooling, including hands‑on experience with platforms such as Splunk, SolarWinds, or similar solutions. - Proven ability to perform root‑cause analysis on complex performance issues and translate findings into prioritized improvement strategies and action plans. - Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to synthesize technical data into clear recommendations and manage multiple initiatives effectively. - Ability to obtain and maintain a SECRET clearance; U.S. citizenship required.
