• Develop, automate, and maintain dashboards and reporting tools using Power BI, Excel, and M365 to support sales performance, forecasting, trade spend, and customer insights • Utilize Circana and Nielsen data to find key insights - including weekly reporting and developing content • Utilize customer specific data (Circana Gateways or Retailer specific data portals) to create reporting to support Sales • Build and refine demand forecasts & inventory levels in partnership with Sales, Supply Chain, and Finance; identify risks, opportunities, and variance drivers • Support Sales by helping to build offline Customer Financial Planners (Excel) • Analyze customer and channel performance, including pricing, promotions, distribution, and profitability • Manage large datasets from multiple internal and external sources; ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity • Support annual planning, budgeting, and strategic initiatives with scenario modeling and revenue projections • Partner with customer teams to prepare selling stories, category insights, and customer ready materials • Identify process gaps and implement scalable solutions that improve reporting efficiency and decision quality • Serve as a subject matter expert on analytical tools, data governance, and best practices

Job Requirements

  • Associate's degree (or 5 years of equivalent experience), Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 3+ years in CPG, retail, or distributor analytics roles
  • Power BI (Advanced): Data modeling, DAX, Power Query, dashboard design, automated refresh pipelines
  • Excel (Advanced): Complex formulas, pivot tables, Power Pivot, macros/VBA (preferred)
  • Microsoft 365: Strong proficiency in Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, and collaborative workflows
  • Data Management: Experience with large datasets, ETL processes, and data quality controls
  • SQL or similar query languages (preferred but not required)
  • Forecasting & Analytics: Understanding of CPG demand planning, POS analysis, syndicated data (IRI/Nielsen), and trade performance metrics
  • Proven track record of building dashboards, forecasting models, and executive ready insights

The Deal Desk Analyst is responsible for providing support to the Sales organization on all renewal and new business deal related matters. The Analyst will work with various business stakeholders across Sales, Legal, Finance, and Product to provide critical insight into Catchpoint’s customer base while supporting day-to-day operations. The Analyst will be heavily involved in scaling the business, while managing activities that support customer growth and retention. This position reports to the Deal Desk Manager, and is a fully remote position. Here's a closer look at this key role: - Identify process and system improvements in the quote-to-cash process, turn those recommendations into functional requirements, and work cross functionally to get the projects built, tested, and released. - Serve as the trusted adviser to the Sales teams on all renewal and new business-related matters. - Execute our contract renewal strategy to drive price increases and multi-year contract commitments within our existing customer base. - Manage a pipeline of renewal opportunities and provide business, product knowledge, and analytical support. - Proactively work with the Sales teams to prepare contracts in advance to ensure early renewals. - Helps Sales reps navigate Salesforce CPQ to produce accurate quotes and contracts that lead to successful wins. - Facilitate discount approvals from Finance on deal structure. - Create customer contracts to ensure they follow company rules and policy guidelines. - Send contracts to customers via Docusign for electronic signature. - Provision Catchpoint customer portal for new and renewing customers, and respond to sales provision requests as needed. - Complete ad-hoc business operations projects as required.
