We are looking for an Information Specialist II who will: - You will support the development, maintenance, and delivery of data and business intelligence solutions that enable data-driven decision making.. - You will focus on building and maintaining reports, dashboards, and datasets using Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, and Azure Data services while supporting - You will work closely with business partners, senior analysts, data engineers, and architects to understand reporting needs, assist with KPI development, troubleshoot data and BI issues, and ensure data quality and consistency. - This position emphasizes foundational to intermediate technical skills, adherence to established standards and processes, and continuous learning of modern analytics and AI-enabled tools. We are looking for candidates who have: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, related field, or equivalent experience 3+ years of experience in data governance, data architecture, data transformation, and data modeling. 3+ years of hands-on experience writing SQL and DAX queries and developing solutions in Power BI. 1–2 years of experience building solutions using Azure Data services. Experience leveraging AI/ML and generative AI tools—such as Glean, Copilot tools, and other enterprise AI platforms—to improve analytics, automate workflows, and enhance data quality. Strong experience working with relational databases, BI tools, and exposure to OLAP database environments. Familiarity with Microsoft data stack components such as SSIS and SSRS. Experience developing or maintaining ETL/ELT processes and supporting enterprise data initiatives. Proficiency writing intermediate scripts using PowerShell, Python, Bash, Perl, or similar languages. Experience working within Agile, SDLC, and ITIL frameworks for delivery and operational processes. Experience troubleshooting data issues, performing root-cause analysis, and supporting production data workflows. Ability to collaborate with senior engineers, architects, and Data Scientists to refine requirements and support solution design.
