Vice President, Data & Analytics

Tuesday

• Proactively identify data science use cases throughout the organization as well as new datasets. • Work cross-functionally to develop solutions. • Build and deploy ML models to better identify populations requiring support/palliative care and provide clinical decision support. • Work with operational stakeholders (e.g. clinical delivery, member/provider engagement) to define and prioritize analytic needs. • Develop business intelligence solutions and conduct ad-hoc analyses to meet these needs and support data-driven decision making. • Collaborate with our actuarial team to measure/forecast value-based contract (VBC) performance, understand savings drivers, and underwrite new contracts. • Support customer-facing analytics and reporting including summarizing Tuesday Health impact, preparing materials for JOCs, and measuring attainment of SLAs. • Build and manage assets in Tuesday’s data lake (Azure Databricks, dbt) leveraging a variety of datasets including client medical/pharmacy claims, ADT/HIE, FHIR, our internal care management system (Elevate), and other SaaS tools leveraged by the business (HubSpot, Zoom, Elation) • Manage cloud infrastructure to support Tuesday Health’s data lake including Azure Databricks and other Azure resources for facilitating data ingestion/delivery (functions, pub/sub, SFTP, etc.) • Maintain the semantic layer and roles-based access controls for Tuesday’s business intelligence systems (ThoughtSpot, PowerBI)

Job Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience working in healthcare analytics roles
  • Strong proficiency with SQL
  • Strong proficiency with Python data tools (pandas/numpy, SciKit, PyTorch)
  • Strong proficiency building and managing cloud infrastructure (Azure, AWS, GCP) and working with data platforms (Databricks, Snowflake)
  • Strong proficiency with one or more BI tools (Tableau, Looker, PowerBI, ThoughtSpot, etc.)
  • Experience leading and managing an analytics team and/or analytics projects
  • Familiarity with healthcare regulations and certifications including HIPAA, HITRUST, and SOC2

Reporting  directly to the Chief Medical Officer, this is a senior level business leader who will recruit and develop a team of physicians and scientists with accountability for the global clinical trials, collaborating with PV to ensure rigorous safety oversight, data integrity, and strategic alignment. The ideal candidate is an MD with significant industry experience in respiratory medicine and a track record of driving executional excellence in pivotal trials.
