Your mission Own the systems that bring our books to life. At Librio, every book we create is unique - personalised for a child somewhere in the world. Behind that magic is a complex operational system connecting our website, printers, logistics partners, and customer experience teams. When it works beautifully, families around the world receive a magical product that feels effortless. We’re looking for someone who loves understanding how systems work and making them work better. In this role, you’ll learn and then take ownership of the operational backbone that brings a Librio book from a click on our website to a book arriving in a child’s hands. What to expect at Librio Your Responsibilities Operations sits at the heart of Librio. Because every book we produce is printed individually and shipped around the world, how our operational systems work directly shapes the experience families have with our products. Until now, much of this operational ownership has sat with the CEO. In this role, you’ll work closely with the CEO and other key stakeholders to take ownership of these systems and help shape how this function evolves as Librio grows. You’ll take ownership of the systems that power Librio’s order-to-delivery journey: fulfilment logic, printer coordination, shipping workflows, and operational data flows. Our systems already work but they can become much smarter, more automated, and more scalable. Your mission is to deeply understand how everything connects, keep the system running reliably, and continuously improve it. You’ll work closely with our Tech, Marketing, and Customer Experience teams, and spend time alongside our CX team to see where operational issues show up in real life. The best improvements come from people who understand the problems customers actually experience. What you'll be doing here This is a broad role, and you won’t be expected to master everything on day one. You’ll build your ownership progressively, starting with the areas of highest priority. ● System Reliability: You ensure our order-to-delivery system runs reliably and predictably. You understand how things connect: stock levels, printer allocation, shipping logic and identify risks before they become problems. ● Root Cause Fixing: When something breaks, you go deeper than the symptom. Whether it's a printer issue, shipping logic problem, or workflow failure, you identify the root cause and implement solutions that prevent it from happening again. ● Data and Process Improvement: You’ll use tools like Sylius, Helpscout, and our internal portals to spot patterns in operational and CX data, and turn those insights into concrete improvements. You see a repetitive task and ask: how do we stop doing this manually? ● CX Immersion: You’ll regularly work alongside our Customer Experience team. The people closest to customer pain points are your best source of intelligence for where systems need improving. Your profile We're looking for someone who We care more about attitude and drive than years of experience. If this role suits you, you’ll likely recognise yourself in many of the points below: ● Ownership mentality: You take responsibility for your domain and don’t wait for someone to tell you something needs fixing. ● Analytical curiosity: You’re comfortable working with data and systems, and you’re energised by turning complexity into clarity. ● Tech comfort: You’re not a developer, but you’re comfortable working with tools and systems and enjoy learning new software. ● Fixer instinct: You’re pragmatic and structured, especially under pressure. You fix things properly rather than patching and moving on. ● Collaborative by default: You work well across technical and non-technical teams and understand that good systems are built together. ● Language: Fluent in both German and English (written and verbal). Why us? At Librio, the things we build end up in the hands of real families. A book ordered on our website might be a bedtime story for a child, a birthday gift from a grandparent, or a keepsake a family keeps for years. Behind that moment is a surprisingly complex system that makes everything work together. This role sits right at the centre of making those moments happen. You’ll own and improve the operational systems that make it possible for a personalised book to move seamlessly from a click on our website to a book arriving in a child’s hands anywhere in the world. If you enjoy understanding complex systems and improving how they work, this role offers an unusual amount of ownership early in your career. You won’t just maintain processes. You’ll help shape how Librio operates as we scale, working with a motivated and diverse team. Ready to take ownership of the systems that get countless personalised stories into children’s hands around the world? Starting Date Interested?
