Your Role: As a Senior Off-Site Systems Engineer, you'll be responsible for supporting a customer in the Cincinnati, OH, area. You will represent the BAE Engine Controls group in this key role and be a steward for our business interests. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure you have a solid understanding of the products you support. • Build, configure, and deploy Demand Planning solutions in SAP IBP to support global demand forecasting and consensus planning processes. • Configure planning levels, key figures, time profiles, and master data attributes to enable scalable demand planning models. • Implement demand planning workflows integrating Sales and Supply Chain teams. • Design and handle integrations between demand intake platforms (Anaplan) and SAP IBP Demand Planning, ensuring accurate demand signal capture, automated data flows, and alignment with enterprise demand planning processes. • Build statistical forecasting models including seasonal, trend-based, and intermittent demand models. • Configure machine learning forecasting algorithms to increase forecast accuracy and improve demand signal analysis. • Develop and maintain forecast model selection and parameter optimization strategies. • Leverage Generative AI insights via SAP Joule to analyze forecast results and recommend improvements. • Develop dashboards and reporting on demand performance analytics. • Configure short-term demand sensing capabilities by using real-time signals such as orders, shipments, and point-of-sale data. • Improve near-term forecast accuracy through data-driven adjustments. • Configure and support lifecycle planning and new product forecasting by using reference products and attribute-based modeling. • Enable seamless transition from product launch to steady-state demand planning. • Apply ABC/XYZ segmentation models to categorize products based on revenue contribution and demand volatility. • Define differentiated planning strategies for various demand segments. • Configure demand prioritization rules. • Develop what-if scenarios and simulations to analyze impacts of demand fluctuations, promotions, and supply constraints. • Support business decision-making with scenario-based planning. • Implement outlier detection, data cleansing, and forecast error monitoring. • Track forecast accuracy using metrics such as MAPE, bias, and Added Forecast Value (FVA). • Integrate SAP IBP with ERP platforms like SAP S/4HANA and SAP ERP Central Component (ECC).
• Provides application support to the Commercial Sales and Medicare division including the Call Center staff. • Provides reporting and data analysis, as appropriate, in order to support Commercial and Medicare Sales in addition to Sales and Marketing Management. • Trains sales staff on specific applications, assists with the development and implementation of database enhancements and facilitate the integrity of appropriate databases. • Assists with conceptual and logical database design based on functional areas and business rules. • Acquires, maintains and articulates a thorough understanding of the business' functional process and data requirements. • Serves as the initial point of contact for the Commercial and Medicare Sales end user community by providing first-level support for assigned applications.
