Director, People Operations
EvenUp
• Architect and execute a long-term People Operations strategy that enables the company to scale effectively and efficiently. • Own end-to-end People Ops processes supporting hiring, onboarding, offboarding, transfers, and employee lifecycle initiatives. • Maintain high-quality HR data across HRIS, payroll, benefits, and ATS systems to drive accurate reporting and informed workforce decisions. • Manage a scalable and compliant immigration process for employees requiring visas or work authorization. • Oversee annual benefits enrollment and ongoing employee support, ensuring accurate coverage, clear communication, and a seamless experience for all employees. • Design, maintain, and communicate company policies, ensuring consistency and compliance. • Implement workflows, tools, and automation to improve operational efficiency, transparency, and scalability. • Ensure HR processes and programs comply with relevant laws across the US and Canada. • Partner with People leaders to deliver smooth, positive experiences at all operational touchpoints.
Job Requirements
- 12+ years in People Operations, HR, or related functions, ideally in high-growth SaaS or technology startups.
- Strong operational expertise, including HR systems, payroll, benefits, HRIS administration, compliance, and employee lifecycle processes.
- Experience managing immigration programs and developing scalable policies for growing organizations.
- Proven ability to partner with executives and department leaders to align People Ops with business priorities.
- Data-driven mindset with high standards for accuracy and reporting.
- Comfortable with ambiguity and delivering results with thoughtful urgency.
