Job Description

Senior Product Manager, APIs – MCPs & Integrations

Merative

• Define and execute the product strategy for APIs, MCP endpoints, and integration capabilities • Evolve legacy systems into scalable, composable services that support both application and agent-based consumption • Partner with engineering to deliver secure, reliable, and high-performance interfaces • Establish clear approaches for API and platform productization (packaging, pricing, versioning, SLAs) • Design repeatable integration patterns to accelerate partner adoption and reduce custom work • Shape how platform capabilities are exposed for AI-driven workflows and agent-based interactions • Improve developer experience (documentation, onboarding, tooling) to drive adoption and usage • Define and track success metrics across adoption, performance, and revenue impact

Job Requirements

  • 5–8+ years of product management experience, with strong ownership of APIs, platforms, or integrations
  • Experience building and scaling external-facing or developer-focused products
  • Strong understanding of API design, service architectures, and integration patterns
  • Familiarity with modern authentication and security models (OAuth, token-based access)
  • Exposure to AI/ML, LLMs, or agent-based systems — or strong ability to ramp quickly
  • Ability to operate at both technical depth and business strategy levels
