They are a diverse, global team of 40+ professionals across Europe and Vietnam. They work in small, agile teams, continuously improving how they deliver value. Their mission: support the IM Data Factory by delivering robust IT solutions, optimizing processes, and reducing manual effort in the critical process of capturing and standardizing vehicle technical data. Now, they are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer who secures and scales our AWS-based application landscape — and directly contributes to achieving our goals. 🔑 This role is a business-critical enabler of stability, scalability, and sustainable platform growth. That means you will build and manage the operations of our application landscape across all projects and initiatives by: - Automating infrastructure provisioning and configuration management (Terraform, CloudFormation) - Designing, implementing, and optimizing CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps or similar) - Implementing and integrating monitoring & alerting solutions across the system landscape - Enforcing security and compliance (least-privilege, encryption, secrets management, regulatory adherence) - Managing AWS cloud environments including backups, disaster recovery, patching, and operational documentation - Troubleshooting production issues and ensuring high availability - Improving scalability and driving cost efficiency within AWS - Continuously evaluating and improving DevOps tooling and standards - Collaborating closely with developers, architects, and product teams Your Profile - Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (preferred) - Significant recent experience in a comparable DevOps / Cloud Engineering role - Strong hands-on expertise in AWS environments and proven proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and CI/CD tools - Experience managing and operating cloud-based applications and solutions - Solid understanding of scalability, performance optimization, and Cloud cost efficiency - Professional English skills - Cloud certifications are a plus If you feel you can fulfil the demands of this role but do not meet all of the criteria above, we still encourage you to apply. • You will be the first person to take full ownership of this area. • Your mission is to make MAIA's platform reliable, secure, auditable, and developer-friendly at a stage where every decision you make has lasting impact. • You will take full ownership of our infrastructure and establish the standards that will guide its growth — Hetzner as primary, with AWS, GCP, and Azure for selected services. • You will own and evolve our CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions) and deployment workflows — improving rollout strategies, versioning, and rollback procedures from their current state. • You will build out and mature our observability stack (Grafana, Loki, Sentry, PostHog) so that issues are detected before customers notice them. • You will implement and own our security fundamentals: IAM, secrets management, TLS, vulnerability scanning, and patch management. • You will drive the technical controls required for ISO 27001 certification and build systems that continuously produce auditable evidence.
