Server Administrator
Ryz Labs
• Administer Windows/Linux servers, VMs, and clusters (VMware/Hyper‑V/KVM). • Monitor health and performance; tune resources and troubleshoot incidents. • Apply patches/updates and manage configuration baselines (WSUS/SCCM/Ansible). • Implement security hardening, access controls, and compliance standards. • Manage backups/DR (e.g., Veeam); perform restores and DR tests. • Maintain documentation, runbooks, and asset inventory.
Job Requirements
- 3+ years administering Windows and/or Linux servers in production.
- Strong with virtualization, storage, and networking fundamentals.
- Scripting/automation skills (PowerShell, Bash); Git a plus.
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools; incident/RCA practice.
- Knowledge of security best practices and identity management (AD/LDAP).
- Preferred certs: MCSA/MCSE, RHCSA/RHCE, VCP, Security+.
