• Planning, architecture, and development of Shopify apps, plugins, and API integrations • Full-stack development using modern frontend (React, Next.js) and backend (Node.js, Express, TypeScript) technologies • Integration of third-party systems via REST and GraphQL interfaces • Ensuring performance, code quality, and scalability • Implementing responsive and accessible UI components • Conducting code reviews, testing (unit, integration, end-to-end), and debugging • Building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and technical documentation • Collaborating with design, product, and QA teams to build products from the ground up

• You will own the end-to-end integration of two new hardware devices into our existing Flutter application — defining the message protocols, extending our BLE communication library, and implementing each device's pre-designed security layer (pairing, authentication, encrypted data exchange) from spec to shipped feature. • You will own automated test coverage on every new communication and security code path, driving it to 95%+ and giving you the autonomy to decide how you prove out the hard-to-test cases: dropped packets, race conditions, and hardware-in-the-loop failure modes. • You will audit and resolve performance and reliability issues that span the stack — application code, mobile OS BLE stacks, and firmware — root-causing intermittent bugs that don't respect layer boundaries. • You will produce the documentation that becomes the reference for how our devices talk to our app: protocols, security implementation, library APIs.

• Collaborate with Product Managers, UX Designers, and Engineers to translate business needs into well‑designed technical solutions • Design, build, and maintain features using modern architectural patterns, including microservices and microfrontends • Write clean, maintainable, and well‑tested code with a focus on performance, usability, and reliability • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues with a thoughtful, solution‑oriented approach • Contribute to sprint planning, technical discussions, and continuous delivery goals • Improve development practices, tooling, and team workflows through ongoing feedback and learning • Take ownership of your work while supporting teammates and shared outcomes
