Job Description

Project Manager, Construction & Infrastructure, CBTC

Berliner Verkehrsbetriebe (BVG)

• As the future Project Manager, coordinate a variety of construction services to ensure the successful delivery of the project • Lead construction projects from start to finish and ensure they are completed on schedule, within budget and to the required quality • Prepare and review construction documentation • Prepare funding/grant applications, submit them and manage the entire application process • Organize and support procurement/tendering procedures and coordinate external partners, especially planners and construction companies, across all HOAI service phases • Monitor project progress and control costs, schedules and quality

Job Requirements

  • Completed university degree (Master’s or Diplom) in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Architecture or equivalent skills and knowledge based on many years of professional experience
  • Several years of relevant professional experience managing public construction projects
  • Fluent German (C1); English skills are an advantage
  • Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations (e.g., HOAI, LHO, VOB, GVFG)
  • Confident communication skills with contacts at all organizational levels
  • Team-oriented with a structured and independent working style, even under time pressure
