Technical Product Owner, Java

SEITENBAU GmbH

• As a Technical Product Owner (m/f/d) with a focus on Java and Spring Boot, you will work with your team and our clients to gather requirements and drive implementation through to release and further development of a software application. • In a project to build the communication infrastructure as part of the digitalization of public administration, you will help master and actively advance the digital transformation. • Together with colleagues and clients, you will maintain the Product Backlog with primarily technical content, define ongoing sprint goals and plan releases. • You will analyze new requirements and derive technical user stories for our Java- and Spring-Boot-based backend components. • Your communication skills will serve you well in your role as the main point of contact for our clients. • You will keep stakeholders informed about current developments and maintain continuous interaction with clients, Scrum Masters, other Product Owners and developers. • Together with your team, you will be responsible for continuous quality assurance and the delivery of new software components. • You will work in a scaled environment with multiple teams, subprojects and consultants.

Job Requirements

  • A university degree or equivalent qualification in a technical field
  • Experience as a software developer or initial experience as a Technical Product Owner is an advantage, preferably in agile software development projects
  • Strong knowledge of Java, Spring Boot and software architectures
  • Enthusiasm for the digitalization of public administration and the use of modern technologies in the public sector
  • You enjoy working on complex topics and bring analytical thinking
  • A reliable team player with a strong sense of quality who enjoys interacting with clients and colleagues
  • You communicate clearly, concisely and proactively
  • Willingness to travel and very good German language skills (C2 or native)
