• Help build coverage of China’s booming biopharma industry. • Cover Chinese biotechs including R&D work, public and private financial markets, and key industry power players. • Work closely with the US team to help readers understand US-China interactions. • Help uncover startups, interesting science, and new entrepreneurs. • Shape coverage and regional footprint, assist in resource hiring, and manage a team.

Job Requirements

  • 7+ years experience in business journalism; including experience covering business and biopharma
  • Excellent written and spoken English, plus Mandarin language skills
  • Located in or willing to relocate to Hong Kong, able to travel to mainland China
  • Collaborative, entrepreneurial attitude
