Spirits Sales Representative
Craft Massachusetts
• Develop and execute sales strategies to grow volume, market share, and profitability within the territory • Successful sale, distribution, and placement of all products in on-premise and off-premise accounts • Identify new business opportunities and build relationships with key decision-makers in existing and potential accounts • Conduct promotions in accounts on a regular basis and when required • Provide market feedback to the Spirits ASM on competitive activity, customer needs, and emerging trends • Organize and execute POS materials at all accounts, properly merchandising with permanent and paper POS • Handle customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner • Maintain a regular schedule of weekly appointments with accounts in assigned territory • Assist in the development and expansion of the entire Craft MA portfolio • Support general sales team to field and follow up on leads, consult on beverage programs, and be available for supplemental tasting appointments and product information • Execute specific programs and work with supplier brands, as assigned • Maintain accurate records of sales activity, account information, and performance metrics in company systems • Achieve or exceed individual monthly and quarterly sales targets and contribute to overall team objectives.
Job Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of sales experience in beverage industry, specifically with spirits and wine
- BA/BS in Business Administration or related, preferred
- WSET Spirits, Level 2 or willingness to achieve
- Strong knowledge of spirits, cocktails, and the alcohol beverage market
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to build and maintain customer relationships
- Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage a territory independently
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
