Data Architect
Exavalu
• Design and implement modern data platform solutions using Azure services including Azure Data Lake, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Factory, and Azure Databricks. • Define data architecture frameworks, standards, and principles. • Lead data modernization and cloud migration initiatives. • Build secure and scalable data pipelines to ingest, transform, and store large datasets. • Collaborate with data engineers, data scientists, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and provide architectural guidance. • Optimize performance, security, and cost of data platforms. • Evaluate and recommend new Azure services and tools based on evolving project needs. • Ensure data governance, data quality, and compliance standards are met.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in data architecture or data engineering roles.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Azure data services.
- Strong knowledge of relational and non-relational databases (SQL Server, Cosmos DB, etc.).
- Proficiency with data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL processes.
- Familiarity with big data and analytics tools like Databricks, Spark, and Synapse.
- Experience with scripting and programming languages (Python, SQL, PowerShell).
- Excellent understanding of security, identity, and governance in Azure.
