Lead Data & Analytics Engineer

Kandu

• Build and maintain data pipelines from key business systems • Design ELT workflows to ingest, normalize, and transform data • Architect, build, and implement a centralized data warehouse • Develop dashboards, operational monitors, and recurring analytics • Develop early predictive and prescriptive models • Work closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements

Job Requirements

  • 5–8 years of experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, or a full-stack data role
  • Strong SQL and Python skills
  • Experience with modern data stack tools (Airflow/Prefect, dbt, Fivetran/Airbyte, Snowflake/BigQuery/Redshift)
  • Experience designing star schemas, dimensional models, or semantic layers
  • Strong dashboarding experience (Looker, Tableau, PowerBI, Mode, Sigma, etc.)
  • Comfort integrating data from multiple SaaS systems via APIs, webhooks, and vendor interfaces

Qualifications - 8+ years of experience in digital analytics, measurement, or insights with at least 2 years leading teams. - Expertise in Adobe Analytics (Workspace, Report Builder, Data Warehouse, Target, Experience Manager). - Advanced technical proficiency in SQL, Snowflake (preferred), Power BI, Databricks, and Python or R. - Demonstrated ability to influence executives with data-driven recommendations. - Proven record of building scalable, enterprise-level measurement frameworks. - Excellent leadership, communication, and cross-functional partnership skills. - Strong storytelling ability to translate data into strategic clarity for senior audiences. Requirements - Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree (MBA or related field) preferred.
