Job Description

Sales and Business Development Specialist, German Speaking

Intertec Systems

• Identify and research target accounts across the DACH region using market intelligence and strategic analysis • Execute outbound campaigns (calls, emails, LinkedIn) to generate qualified opportunities • Develop 5-8 qualified potential customers per six months, building a sustainable pipeline for long-term growth • Participate actively in pre-sales activities, collaborating with technical teams to understand client requirements and craft tailored solutions • Conduct discovery conversations to uncover client challenges, technical environments, and business priorities • Translate technical capabilities into business value propositions that resonate with decision-makers • Support the creation of technical proposals, estimates, and proof-of-concept scoping • Represent Intertec at industry events, IT summits, trade shows, and networking functions across the DACH region • Present the company's capabilities, case studies, and value proposition to prospective clients and industry audiences • Cultivate relationships with key decision-makers (CTOs, CIOs, IT Directors, Heads of Engineering) • Maintain accurate CRM records and provide regular pipeline reporting • Contribute to thought leadership initiatives and brand positioning in the DACH market

Job Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in B2B sales, business development, or account management-preferably in IT services, software development, or technology consulting
  • Deep understanding of the custom software development industry, including development methodologies, technology stacks, and delivery models
  • Fluent German (native or C1+) and professional English-both written and spoken
  • Proven ability to engage confidently with senior stakeholders via phone, video, and in-person
  • Comfortable presenting to groups and representing the company at professional events
  • Strong research and analytical skills with attention to detail
  • Self-motivated with excellent organizational and time-management abilities
  • Experience in pre-sales or solution consulting roles
  • Experience selling technology services to enterprise clients in the DACH region
  • Understanding of legacy modernization, cloud migration, AI/ML, or digital transformation initiatives
  • Existing network within German enterprise IT departments
  • Track record of event participation or public speaking
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or related field
