Job Description

Software Development Engineer III, Front End

Learneo

• Lead the architecture and development of complex, scalable frontend systems, ensuring modularity, performance, and long-term maintainability. • Design and build high-quality user-facing features using React, TypeScript, and modern CSS, with strong attention to UX and accessibility. • Own project execution end-to-end: define well-scoped milestones, deliver on time with high quality, and operate with minimal guidance. • Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to shape product direction and technical architecture. • Define and champion best practices across the engineering lifecycle, including coding standards, testing, documentation, and code reviews. • Prototype rapidly, iterate on evolving ideas, and help bring clarity to ambiguous problem spaces. • Mentor engineers, provide technical guidance, and raise the overall bar for engineering excellence and architectural decision-making. • Drive operational excellence by contributing to observability, rollout safety, incident response, and ongoing system reliability improvements. • Diagnose and resolve production issues across the stack, proactively improving systems to reduce operational and on-call load.

Job Requirements

  • 7+ years of hands-on experience building and maintaining large-scale web applications.
  • Deep expertise in frontend technologies, including React, TypeScript, DOM rendering, and modern UI frameworks.
  • Proven experience architecting complex frontend systems with a focus on scalability, performance, and maintainability.
  • Strong programming skills in at least one backend language (e.g., Node.js or Python) with solid computer science fundamentals.
  • Strong understanding of design patterns, testing strategies, documentation practices, and production-quality code standards.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills, especially in high-scale production environments.
  • Strong communication skills and experience collaborating effectively within cross-functional teams.
  • Passion for technology and continuous learning; experience with AI/ML-powered applications is a plus.
  • Experience developing highly interactive, performance-sensitive interfaces (e.g., Canvas- or SVG-based tools) will be considered an advantage.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary and annual bonus
  • Medical coverage
  • Life and accidental insurance
  • Vacation & leaves of absence (menstrual, flexible, special, and more!)
  • Developmental opportunities through education & developmental reimbursements & professional workshops
  • Maternity & parental leave

  • On-site & remote company events throughout the year
  • Tech & WFH stipends & new hire allowances
  • Employee referral program
