• Design fire sprinkler systems, fire alarm systems, special suppression systems, and more. • Develop life safety code compliance plans. • Develop permit documents. • Act as a technical advisor for project teams, providing expert guidance and addressing complex engineering challenges within the discipline of fire protection and life safety. • Participate in the interdisciplinary review of project deliverables, ensuring integration and alignment with overall project goals and requirements. • Develop construction cost estimates and estimates of technical efforts for projects, providing accurate financial assessments and resource planning. • Utilize your expertise in all steps of completing the discipline component of contract documents. • Perform quality control reviews of design calculations and drawings, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and adherence to standards. • Prepare detailed technical specification sections, outlining requirements and standards for fire protection systems and components. • Contribute to the development of engineering budgets and schedules, ensuring that project requirements are met within allocated resources and timeframes. • Lead fire protection and life safety design for large, complex projects

• Produce deliverables and perform analysis of the applicable regulatory framework • Coordinate study contributors to ensure overall consistency • Serve as the technical point of contact for all aspects of the project • Lead the project design meetings • Provide technical support during the on-site installation phase • Act as the technical authority (validate technical choices) and ensure the project’s technical compliance • Monitor tasks and deliverables under your responsibility (AE) within the project schedule

• Successfully complete long and short-term benchmark projects involving some of the largest HPC systems in the world that utilize the latest HPC technologies. • Understand HPC architectural components and features, as well as performance estimation methodologies used to provide required information and performance assessments for storage benchmarks on future HPE and competitive systems. • Provide technical analysis of I/O in standard HPC storage and application benchmarks. • Identify solutions, define action plans, and help coordinate and deliver optimal benchmark enhancements and solutions in partnership with account teams. • Develop and maintain current knowledge of competitors’ and HPE’s HPC products and relevant HPC performance optimization techniques to ensure HPE’s ability to provide high-quality benchmark performance results.

• Plan and administer small decentralized public water systems and waste water systems. • Provide leadership in the design of efficient and constructable civil projects. • Estimate and budget labor hours for design projects; review job costing reports and take corrective action, as necessary. • Establish and maintain client relationships; ensure client satisfaction and ensure that client objectives are met. • Mentor young design professionals. • Participate in business development opportunities. • Participate in professional organizations and functions.
