Software Tester – Manual & Automation
Staff Domain
• Ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of Microsoft-native, Azure-based applications and data solutions built by the business. • Design, execute, and maintain manual and automated test cases. • Perform functional, regression, integration, and UAT testing. • Identify, document, and track defects using Azure DevOps or Jira. • Test applications built using .NET/C# and Azure-based services. • Validate quality of data-integrated systems, APIs, and SQL-backed components. • Contribute to development and implementation of automation testing strategies, using tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright. • Work closely with developers and technical consultants to clarify acceptance criteria and validate feature readiness. • Participate in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives).
Job Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in software testing (manual & automation)
- Proven experience with manual testing methodologies.
- Solid understanding of SDLC and Agile/Scrum delivery.
- Experience using test management and defect tracking tools such as Azure DevOps or Jira.
- Exposure to automation frameworks (e.g., Playwright, Selenium, Cypress).
- Ability to write structured and comprehensive test cases and test scenarios.
- Microsoft Tech Stack Requirements: Experience testing Microsoft-native applications—specifically .NET / C# applications deployed on Azure.
- Understanding of Azure services, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-based environments.
- Exposure to testing SQL databases, queries, stored procedures, and data validation workflows.
- Familiarity with testing apps involving AI-driven features or Azure Foundry-based modern applications.
- Awareness of security considerations, data encryption basics, and safe handling of sensitive data.
