Strategic Account Executive – Public Sector
Axon
• Manage and grow revenue and market share at designated agencies to maximize customer satisfaction and achieve Axon’s strategic objectives • Develop and maintain client relationships to ultimately drive revenue growth • Develop and execute account strategy by collaborating with account team to deliver stronger, more relevant value propositions • Cultivate customer relationships and ensure effective service delivery to accounts • Focus on customer's satisfaction, know the customer's business and workflows, develop proper contact network within accounts • Support execution of strategy at the account level • Work with and bring in experts/specialists where required • Oversee all account activities • Responsible for forecasting, keep management in touch with accounts in a timely fashion, gather intelligence on competitor activity, and give feedback to marketing • Track customer activity in internal systems in order to execute on account strategy and identify additional opportunities • May provide customer product training as necessary • Accountable for individual expense budget management • Own account relationship and drive overall customer satisfaction for assigned accounts
Job Requirements
- 5+ years customer facing sales and quota carrying role
- 3+ years of experience with public sector procurement in Middle East
- Experience selling SaaS based solutions
- Native Arabic and Fluent English required
- Able to travel up to 70%
- An extensive demonstrable track record in Software Sales (SaaS / Cloud)
- Relationship / consultative selling experience
- Able to clearly and directly articulate complex solution offerings
- Data management experience using Salesforce or similar CRM
- Virtualization and Cloud understanding
- Team Player - collaborate with various team members regularly
- Ready to own & drive the territory
- Startup experience & some vertical experience a plus
- Law Enforcement / Public Safety experience a plus

This role is not about sales theater, aggressive tactics, or closing at all costs. It is about creating momentum, qualifying fit, initiating growth conversations, and helping the right clients say yes — while protecting delivery and long-term relationships. The Role You’ll be responsible for generating and growing revenue by: - Prospecting and developing new client relationships (primarily fintech, with healthcare and higher ed as secondary verticals) - Qualifying opportunities rigorously — walking away from bad-fit deals - Leading consultative sales conversations with CEOs, CMOs, and Marketing Directors - Partnering closely with operations to ensure smooth handoffs and realistic commitments - Supporting expansion and upsell opportunities within existing accounts - Building and maintaining a clean, honest pipeline and CRM You’ll operate with limited internal support and high autonomy. This is an individual contributor role in a small, senior team — not a sales manager position and not a “build a sales org” mandate. What Success Looks Like In the first 6–12 months, success means: - Creating consistent, qualified pipeline — not just activity - Closing new retainer-based clients (typically $5k–$15k/month) - Helping existing clients grow in a way that adds real value - Establishing a repeatable, disciplined sales rhythm without over-structuring the company - Earning trust internally and externally as a thoughtful, steady presence We care as much about how revenue is created as how much.
