Onboarding Specialist – Claims Platform, GI / P&C

Five Sigma - Claims Management Solution

• Lead hands-on execution of customer onboarding activities from discovery through go-live and hypercare • Act as the claims SME during onboarding, guiding decisions on workflows, roles, rules, and configuration • Configure claims workflows, rules, roles, and platform settings aligned to customer operating models • Support end-to-end implementation, including UAT and post-go-live stabilisation • Partner closely with the Integration Specialist on integration design and delivery • Translate claims workflows and business requirements into clear integration and data mapping inputs • Define data mappings and transformation rules for migrations from a claims perspective • Support data validation, reconciliation, and UAT cycles to ensure business outcomes are met • Run detailed discovery sessions focused on claims operations and GI / P&C requirements • Document functional requirements, workflows, and acceptance criteria • Identify gaps between customer claims processes and platform capabilities • Support change requests where scope adjustments are required • Translate business requirements into functional designs, specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria • Partner with the Head of Delivery Australia on planning, sequencing, and delivery risk management • Collaborate with Professional Services and PRND (Product, Research & Development) teams during onboarding • Support testing, defect triage, and issue resolution • Contribute to onboarding standards, templates, and playbooks • Support QA activities by validating functional outcomes during UAT and post-go-live.

Job Requirements

  • 5+ years’ experience in onboarding, implementation, business analysis, or claims systems roles
  • Strong domain expertise in General Insurance (GI) / Property & Casualty (P&C) claims
  • Deep understanding of claims workflows, data structures, and operating models
  • Experience working with SaaS platforms and cloud-based systems
  • Working knowledge of APIs, integrations, and data flows (ability to partner effectively with technical specialists)
  • Experience supporting data migration and UAT from a business perspective
  • Strong documentation and stakeholder communication skills.

Position Summary The Provider Enrollment & Credentialing Specialist is a vital role that ensures our clinicians are fully vetted, licensed, and panelled with insurance providers to deliver care to our senior population. You will serve as the primary link between the recruitment of new providers and their ability to begin seeing patients. This role requires a high degree of organization, a deep understanding of Medicare/CMS guidelines, and the ability to navigate complex state-specific licensing requirements. - Manage the collection, verification, and maintenance of all provider credentials, including professional licenses, board certifications, DEA registrations, and malpractice insurance. - Oversee the submission and tracking of enrollment applications for Medicare (PECOS), Medicaid, and commercial insurance panels (e.g., Humana). - Maintain and update provider profiles in the CAQH ProView database, ensuring timely re-attestations every 120 days. - Conduct thorough background checks and verify education, training, and work history to ensure compliance with NCQA and CMS standards. - Update and maintain accurate provider data within internal systems (TLOS and Healthy) to ensure the Active Care team has real-time visibility into provider capacity and expertise. - Proactively monitor and notify clinicians of upcoming license or certification expirations to prevent gaps in service or billing. - Collaborate with the Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) team to resolve claim denials related to provider credentialing or enrollment issues.
