Summary The Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR) Scientist will play a critical role on the Medical Affairs team by executing HEOR tactics to demonstrate the value of GeneDx's genetic testing services, with the goal of generating evidence to increase clinician adoption, expand patient access, and optimize reimbursement. This role involves performing various HEOR activities, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and analyzing large datasets to generate real-world evidence. The HEOR scientist will also engage with key stakeholders and contribute to scientific publications and presentations, ensuring GeneDx's leadership in the field of rare genetic diseases. Job Responsibilities Execute HEOR activities that support established medical and business strategies for GeneDx’s genetic testing services. Conduct HEOR studies, including cost-effectiveness analyses, budget impact models, and other methods for generating real-world evidence. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including clinical and commercial departments, to integrate HEOR insights into ongoing projects and address HEOR questions in real time.
