Business Analyst – Workforce Development
Geographic Solutions, Inc.
• Formulate and define system scopes and objectives based on user needs and understanding of business systems • Analyze business and user needs related to interfaces involving third party systems • Document requirements and translate them into specifications for projects • Coordinate and meet with clients and business leaders • Work closely with software architects and development teams • Identify and quantify business process improvements through technology • Facilitate productive communication between technical and non-technical audiences • Prepare and deliver training updates via webinars
Job Requirements
- Prior BA experience in an IT/software setting
- Organized and detail oriented
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Knowledge of project management methodologies
- Strong knowledge of project management and software development lifecycle (SDLC)
- Proficiency in MS SQL server (2000/2005/2008) and basic SQL queries
- Knowledge of relational databases and basic SQL query techniques
- Bachelor’s Degree in business or related field, or equivalent experience preferred
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
