Job Description
Prompt Engineer
Zartis
• Learn, maintain, and troubleshoot existing public projects and “skills” built within Anthropic Claude, ensuring business continuity. • Optimise complex, multi-step prompts for financial services workflows, including compliance checks, suitability recommendations, and financial promotions. • Provide direct day-to-day user support — acting as a help desk when outputs degrade, context limits are hit, or nuanced follow-up instructions are needed. • Support a user base of 500+ people, including non-technical teams transitioning from traditional manual processes. • Document AI architectures, best practices, processes, and controls to formalise ways of working that are currently managed informally. • Assist in improving the technical foundations behind automated agents, including refining the combination of LLM logic with Python and JSON used for letter-writing and fact-file processing workflows. • Partner closely with the lead AI strategist to ensure knowledge transfer and reduce single points of failure.
Job Requirements
- Strong hands-on expertise with the Anthropic Claude ecosystem, including model behaviour (e.g., Sonnet vs Opus), limitations, and advanced prompting techniques.
- Proven experience in prompt engineering for complex, multi-step workflows in production environments.
- Ability to read, understand, and maintain Python code and JSON used by AI agents.
- Strong operational mindset: focused on stability, adoption, and day-to-day reliability — not only strategy.
- Excellent communication skills and empathy for supporting non-technical users.
- Familiarity working in a highly regulated environment (wealth management / finance), where accuracy and compliance are critical.
- Experience supporting AI adoption programmes at scale (hundreds of users) (Nice to Have).
- Experience building or maintaining LLM-powered internal tools (agents, workflow libraries, prompt templates) (Nice to Have).

- 100% Remote Work
- WFH allowance: Monthly payment as financial support for remote working.

- Mentoring Program: You can become a mentor in Zartis or you can receive mentorship, or both.
