Experienced Vehicle Fire Suppression Technician

• You will work on commercial, industrial, mining and institutional sites, where you will be responsible for installing, inspecting, servicing and repairing vehicle fire suppression systems. • Inspect and validate vehicle fire suppression systems. • Perform mechanical and electrical testing. • Replace, repair and certify components. • Read and interpret drawings, specifications and manuals. • Assess client needs and recommend solutions. • Complete documentation and daily work reports. • Mentor junior team members. • Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation.
Job Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of field experience in inspection, testing, maintenance and/or installation of vehicle fire suppression systems
- Training on vehicle fire suppression systems (Ansul, Amerex, Kidde, Dafo, Fogmaker or similar)
- Additional fire protection certifications are an asset
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
- Ability to work safely, independently and professionally
- Customer-focused approach
- Valid driver's license
- Willingness to work at remote sites and to work overtime (overtime pay provided)
