Data and Reporting Analyst

CaseWare

• Perform quality assurance on Tableau dashboards and reports used for Sales Ops and RevOps decision-making • Validate that Tableau outputs accurately reflect Salesforce pipeline, opportunity, account, and activity data • Document QA findings, validation logic, and recurring data issues to improve reporting standards and processes • Ensure reports align with defined sales processes, GTM rules, and RevOps metrics (e.g., pipeline stages, bookings, attribution) • Identify discrepancies between Salesforce records and Tableau reporting, and determine root cause (report logic vs. CRM data quality) • Partner with Sales Ops, RevOps, Analytics, and BI teams to resolve reporting and data issues • Perform data reconciliation using Salesforce exports, Tableau data sources, and Excel • Break down complex sales reporting issues into smaller, testable components to isolate errors • Support the ongoing accuracy of pipeline reviews, forecasting, attainment tracking, and performance dashboards

Job Requirements

  • Comfort working with Tableau, particularly reading, validating, and interpreting dashboards and metrics
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce (CRM), including core sales objects such as Leads, Accounts, Opportunities, and Activities
  • Strong Excel skills, including VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, IF statements, COUNTIF, SUMIFS, filtering, pivoting, and working with large datasets
  • Strong analytical and abstract thinking skills, especially in understanding how sales processes translate into data
  • Ability to work with large and complex datasets and identify inconsistencies or anomalies
  • Foundational understanding of SaaS sales models, including pipeline, bookings, ARR, renewals, upsell, and churn
